The content on this website is provided for general information and to showcase YVCreator’s services and portfolio.

You may browse and share links to the website, but you may not copy, reproduce, download, modify or commercially use its images, video, audio or written content without permission.

Quotes and bookings

​

Project scope, pricing, timelines, deliverables and payment terms will be confirmed in a written quote or project agreement.

​

A booking is only confirmed once any required deposit has been paid and written confirmation has been provided.

​

If a project quote or agreement differs from these website terms, the project-specific agreement will take priority.

​

Payments

​

Invoices must be paid by the date stated on the invoice.

Final work may be withheld until all outstanding amounts have been paid. Additional work outside the agreed scope may be quoted and charged separately.

Cancellations and rescheduling

​

Cancellation, postponement and rescheduling terms will be included in the relevant quote or project agreement.

​

Costs already incurred and work already completed remain payable. Deposits may be non-refundable where time has been reserved or expenses have been committed.

​

Weather-dependent shoots and circumstances outside either party’s reasonable control will be handled as fairly as possible.

Your responsibilities

​

You agree to provide accurate information, clear feedback and the files, permissions and approvals needed to complete the work.

​

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you are responsible for obtaining permission to use any locations, music, branding, footage, photographs or other material you supply.

​

You’re also responsible for securing permission from participants, guardians or property owners where required, unless YVCreator has specifically agreed to handle this.

Creative work and revisions

​

Every project includes the deliverables and revision allowance stated in its quote.

​

Requests outside the agreed scope may require a revised timeline and additional fee. Creative differences that don’t involve an error or failure to follow the agreed brief aren’t automatically grounds for a refund.

​

Ownership and usage rights

​

You retain ownership of material you supply.

​

Usage rights for completed work will be set out in the project quote or agreement and take effect once full payment has been received.

​

YVCreator retains ownership of working files, raw footage, raw photographs, project files, templates, processes and other underlying production material unless their transfer is specifically included in writing.

​

Unless confidentiality has been agreed beforehand, YVCreator may display completed work in a portfolio, on social media or in promotional material. If a project must remain private, please raise this before work begins.

​

Delivery and file storage

​

Delivery dates are estimates unless a fixed deadline has been agreed in writing.

Timelines may change if feedback, content, approval or payment is delayed.

​

YVCreator isn’t responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside reasonable control.

​

Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up delivered files. Long-term storage isn’t guaranteed unless agreed separately.

​

Third-party

platforms

​

This website may contain embedded media or links to third-party websites and platforms. YVCreator isn’t responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or accessibility.

​

Liability

​

YVCreator will take reasonable care when providing services but can’t guarantee a particular commercial, audience or platform result.

To the extent permitted by law, YVCreator won’t be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or services. Any direct liability will be limited to the amount paid for the service connected to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that can’t legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of the appropriate South African courts unless another written agreement applies.
